SPENCER'S RESTAURANT
"Like many Americans, my trips to Mexico have always been wonderful, the weather delightful, and the people friendly. However, there's always been wariness about the food. I love Mexican food, but my internal workings are sensitive. My first meal at Spencer's was dinner and I was persuaded to order the lobster meal. Throwing caution to the winds, I agreed with the recommendation. Yes, I cleaned the plate and was ready for the Mexican breakfast the next morning after a great night's sleep. (Herewith are photos of both the dinner and breakfast. Don't they look fabulous?) And, to my surprise, I looked forward to lunch after a wonderful morning of sightseeing. Not only was the food excellent, the live entertainment made it a fun time for all! Although I had a meal or two at other places, there is nothing like Spencer's in all of Cabo San Lucas for the quality, price and beautiful setting in this Colonial-style restaurant." The HUGE Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus pretty much speak for themselves; there are so many selections, it will take a little while to download them-but the wait is worth it! Not only do many of the Hotel Mar de Cortez guests eat all their meals here, patrons come from all over town. Why? Here is a letter from a first-time guest, which speaks volumes:

The bar at the Hotel Mar de Cortez is also a favorite hangout for those in the know. If by chance our bartender doesn't know the ingredients to your favorite drink, he is delighted to improve his bar vocabulary and build it to your specifications from his extensive inventory. However many of our guests like to try the wide variety of Margaritas and Mexican cervezas during their stay. |
